Does google Authenticator need any data to use? How do we secure the wallet if there’s no GA? We can as well use any other Authenticator if Google Authenticator is the issue...the whole idea is for the wallet to be secured. Please review your decision @ Edmund

Given that most wallets will be Hardware Wallets, two factor authentication is already achieved (PIN / passphrase on Trezor / Ledger) + possession of the Trezor / Ledger physical device.
To ensure a similar level of security, I would suggest that the wallet be BIP39 compatible, allowing those that use private keys stored on their computer to also combine the master seed with a passphrase to allow for multiple / hidden accounts per BIP39. This essentially negates any of this 2FA support stuff.

a internet é um sistema aberto a todos com total liberdade. por isso fator 2FA ajuda a empresa a esta atenta aos ataque repentino quando houver
eu acredito no potencial da empresa mais se queremos conquistar um serviço global ao nível do blockchain em se adaptar a inovação sem abri mão das já existente. meu ponto é seremos mais um no meio da multidão

Using 2fa doesn't mean you have to use Google as the authenticator. SMS is a form of 2fa.

we are talking about decentralized Identification/password management. using google auth would kill all trust in the app for me
